This is the first half of a talk given at the Parkdale Yoga Centre recently. This section is largely concerned with describing different types of nihilsm and relating them to the unfolding of the philosophical tradition. Some inspiration is taken from Nietzsche's account of nihilsm and Heidegger's reflections upon them. [Patrons only. 92 minutes.]
